Tenga Technology ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Tenga mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform to access laundry services, act as a Laundry Station partner, or serve as a courier.

A. Personal Data

B. Location Data
To facilitate efficient laundry pickups and deliveries, we collect precise or approximate location data from your mobile device if you enable it through your app settings.
- Users: We use location to set pickup/drop-off points.
- Couriers: We track location in the background to provide real-time order tracking to the customer. Location data is collected even when the app is closed or not in use to ensure accurate delivery tracking.
C. Transaction Data
We collect details related to your laundry orders, including the type of service (Wash & Fold, Dry Cleaning, etc.), total cost, and payment method.
D. Device Information
Information about the device you use to access the app, such as hardware model, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service.
- To notify you about changes to your order status.
- To allow Laundry Stations and Couriers to fulfill your requests.
- To provide customer support.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To improve our app's user experience and localized (English/Swahili) interface.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third parties in the following cases:
- With Laundry Stations: We share your name and order details so they can process your laundry.
- With Couriers: We share your address and phone number so they can complete the pickup/delivery.
- For Legal Reasons: If required by Tanzanian law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We use commercially acceptable means (encryption and secure servers) to protect your Personal Data.
