Terms & Conditions for Tenga Laundry Service Users
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of Tenga Laundry Services provided through the Tenga Mobile Application and related platforms ("Platform"). By placing an order through Tenga, the user ("Customer") agrees to be bound by these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
Tenga provides a digital platform that enables customers to:
- Schedule laundry pickup
- Access washing, drying, ironing, and folding services
- Receive cleaned garments through doorstep delivery
Services are fulfilled either directly by Tenga-operated laundry points or through approved partner laundromats.
3. User Eligibility
Users must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have guardian consent
- Provide accurate personal, contact, and location information
- Use the service for lawful purposes only
4. Orders & Payments
- All orders must be placed through the Tenga App
- Prices are displayed before order confirmation
- Payments must be completed via approved digital payment methods
- Orders are processed only after successful payment
5. Laundry Handling & Care
- Customers are responsible for checking garment pockets before pickup
- Tenga is not responsible for items left inside garments
- Special care items (e.g. delicate fabrics) must be declared in-app
- Standard care procedures apply unless otherwise specified
6. Liability & Compensation
- Tenga takes reasonable care in handling garments
- Liability for loss or damage is limited to reasonable compensation, not exceeding the service value of the affected item
- Tenga is not liable for:
- Normal wear and tear
- Color bleeding due to fabric nature
- Manufacturer defects
7. Pick-up & Delivery
- Customers must ensure availability during scheduled pickup/delivery
- Delays caused by customer unavailability are not Tenga's responsibility
- Re-delivery fees may apply where applicable
8. Cancellations & Refunds
- Orders may be cancelled before pickup without penalty
- Once pickup has occurred, cancellations may not be refundable
- Refunds (if applicable) are processed to the original payment method
9. Data Protection & Privacy
Tenga collects and processes personal data strictly for service delivery, operations, and improvement, in line with applicable data protection laws.
10. Amendments
Tenga reserves the right to update these Terms. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
Terms & Conditions for Laundry Stores (Laundromats)
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the onboarding and participation of laundry businesses ("Partners") on the Tenga Laundry Marketplace Platform. By registering on Tenga, the Partner agrees to comply with these Terms.
2. Nature of the Relationship
- Tenga operates as a digital marketplace and service aggregator
- Partners remain independent businesses, not employees or agents of Tenga
- Tenga facilitates customer acquisition, order management, and payments
3. Eligibility & Onboarding
Partners must:
- Be legally operating laundry businesses
- Meet minimum quality and hygiene standards
- Provide accurate business and banking details
- Accept Tenga's operational and service guidelines
4. Services & Responsibilities of Partners
Partners agree to:
- Deliver laundry services according to agreed quality standards
- Handle garments professionally and responsibly
- Meet service turnaround times communicated via the platform
- Assign trained staff to handle Tenga orders
5. Pricing & Commission
- Laundry prices may be suggested or approved jointly with Tenga
- Tenga shall charge a commission of 5% – 10% per completed order
- Commission is deducted before partner payouts
- Payment settlements are made according to agreed cycles
6. Quality Control & Compliance
- Tenga reserves the right to conduct quality audits
- Repeated service complaints may lead to:
- Warnings
- Temporary suspension
- Termination from the platform
7. Customer Experience & Disputes
- Partners must cooperate in resolving customer complaints
- In case of damage or loss caused by partner negligence, the partner bears responsibility
- Tenga may mediate disputes to protect platform trust
8. Branding & Marketing
- Partners grant Tenga the right to display their business on the platform
- Tenga may use partner names and images for marketing purposes
- Partners may display "Available on Tenga" branding where applicable
9. Data Use & Confidentiality
- Partners shall not misuse customer data accessed via Tenga
- All platform data remains confidential and proprietary to Tenga
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the partnership with written notice. Immediate termination may occur in cases of:
- Fraud or misconduct
- Repeated service failures
- Violation of platform rules
11. Amendments
Tenga may revise these Terms with notice. Continued platform use constitutes acceptance.
